Use this workflow to evaluate Resource Lens against a controlled Azure scope and produce the first savings review.
Evaluation path
- Subscribe through Azure Marketplace.
- Sign in to Resource Lens and verify tenant details.
- Confirm the Azure tenant and choose the subscriptions Resource Lens should analyze.
- Select management groups or subscriptions and choose the required Reader role plus any optional evidence roles.
- Review the planned scope and complete access validation.
- Start an analysis run for the subscriptions and resource types you want reviewed.
- Follow live progress and respond if the analysis requests clarification or additional access.
- Open the completed run to inspect evidence, scenarios, validation requirements, and implementation artifacts.
- Copy or download approved guidance for review in your normal engineering process.
