Terms of Service

Draft for legal review. Resource Lens is provided by Firesub AB through Microsoft Marketplace. The Marketplace agreement and the final approved offer terms govern your subscription; this page summarizes the current product behavior and is not yet a final legal agreement.

Service

Resource Lens provides scoped Azure inventory and cost analysis, recommendations, evidence, reports, and implementation guidance. It does not execute changes to customer Azure resources. Recommendations, savings estimates, generated artifacts, and deterministic fallback results require customer review and validation.

Access and authorization

• The customer is responsible for authorized Microsoft Entra users, app-role assignments, tenant consent, and Azure role assignments.
• The customer must grant only the scopes and optional read-only evidence roles appropriate for its use.
• The customer must not provide credentials, secrets, unlawful content, or data it is not permitted to process.

Customer decisions

The customer remains responsible for validating evidence, dependencies, prices, operational impact, backups, security requirements, and generated commands or infrastructure code before implementation. Estimated monthly or annual savings are opportunities, not guaranteed or realized savings.

Plans and billing

Plan fees, included Resource Lens tokens, permitted overage, taxes, renewals, plan changes, invoicing, and cancellation are handled through Microsoft Marketplace. Resource Lens enforces the usage allowance and customer-configured overage cap reported by the billing system of record.

Availability and changes

Features can depend on Azure service availability, permissions, telemetry, regional capacity, Marketplace status, and third-party service behavior. Firesub AB may update the service to maintain security, reliability, compatibility, and product quality subject to the final Marketplace terms.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited when entitlement is inactive, the configured hosted-AI overage cap is reached, required permissions are unavailable, or use threatens the service or other customers. Workspace reset removes Azure access, coordinates cancellation, locks saved data for the recovery period, and then permanently purges it.

Support and final terms

Use the support information supplied with the Resource Lens Marketplace offer. Liability, warranties, service levels, governing law, regulatory terms, and formal contact details must be taken from the final Firesub AB and Marketplace agreements.
