Cancel Subscription
Microsoft Marketplace is the billing system of record. Resource Lens also provides a guided workspace reset for revoking Azure access and purging saved workspace data.
Steps
- Open Settings > Reset workspace and review the affected access, billing, and data.
- Confirm the tenant ID to begin the protected reset workflow.
- Resource Lens removes its Azure role assignments and requests Marketplace cancellation; complete cancellation manually in Azure if Microsoft requires it.
- The workspace is locked for the configured recovery period before permanent deletion.
- Delete the Resource Lens enterprise application in Microsoft Entra after the purge, then clear local data and sign out.
After cancellation
- Marketplace billing stops after Microsoft confirms cancellation under the subscription terms.
- Saved analysis data is permanently removed after the seven-day recovery period.
