Overview

Use this guide to onboard Resource Lens in a controlled way so IT leaders can evaluate Azure savings without broad operational access.

Prerequisites

• Access to Azure Marketplace.
• An organization account that can sign in to Resource Lens.
• An administrator who can approve the Resource Lens enterprise application when access grants are configured.
• Ability to assign Reader and any optional evidence roles at the selected Azure scopes.

Recommended onboarding path

1. Subscribe in Azure Marketplace.
2. Sign in to Resource Lens and confirm tenant details.
3. Verify the tenant and complete the requested consent.
4. Select management groups or subscriptions and choose read-only permissions.
5. Review the final scope and complete setup after Resource Lens validates access.
6. Run analysis and review savings recommendations.
